This will be about a community initiative focused on restoring and protecting the natural landscapes of the Whitsundays dry tropics.

The project supports:

• Creek restoration in inland grazing regions
• Coastal ecosystem restoration near Bowen
• Community education on invasive species
• Volunteer coordination
• Collaboration with landholders, schools and organisations

The long-term goal is to prevent invasive species from permanently damaging local ecosystems and grazing land.
